A Morning-to-Night Supplement Routine on One Page

Morning focus, a midday capsule with lunch and a wind-down at night. Here is when to take each one, and the details that are easy to get wrong.

Three ZuvoNutrition capsule bottles beside a planner and a breakfast bowl

In short

Morning: Mind + Energy (it contains caffeine). With a meal: Vision + Antioxidant. 30 minutes before bed: Sleep+ (it contains melatonin). Our Daily Focus & Nighttime Bundle includes all three.

The routine at a glance

When What How much
Morning Mind + Energy 1 capsule with 6 to 8 oz of water
Lunch or dinner Vision + Antioxidant 1 capsule with a meal
30 minutes before bed Sleep+ 2 capsules with 6 to 8 oz of water

Morning: Mind + Energy

One capsule combines niacin and vitamin B6 with a 255 mg blend that includes L-theanine, L-tyrosine, alpha-GPC, phosphatidylserine, bacopa, GABA, huperzine A and caffeine. Because it contains caffeine, take it in the morning or early afternoon, never late in the day.

Count it as part of your caffeine for the day. The FDA notes that up to 400 mg of caffeine a day is not generally associated with negative effects for healthy adults, but sensitivity varies, so go easy on extra coffee if you are sensitive.

With a meal: Vision + Antioxidant

One capsule a day with a meal, for people with long screen days. It contains vitamins C and E, zinc, copper, bilberry, eyebright and lutein. Lunch is an easy anchor, because most of us eat it at about the same time each day.

Before bed: Sleep+

Two capsules about 30 minutes before bedtime. Each serving has 2 mg of melatonin with valerian, chamomile, lemon balm, passionflower, GABA and L-tryptophan. Take it only at bedtime. Do not drive or operate machinery after taking it. It is for adults only.

Pair it with a wind-down routine: dim the lights, put screens away and keep a regular bedtime.

Tips that make it stick

  • Anchor each step to a habit: coffee, lunch, brushing your teeth.
  • Keep morning and evening bottles apart so you never mix up the caffeine and melatonin capsules.
  • Missed one? Skip it and carry on the next day. Do not double up.
  • Store safely: cool, dry and out of reach of children.

Good to know

Melatonin and caffeine both affect how alert you feel. If you take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have ongoing trouble sleeping, talk to your doctor before starting either one.
