Before you start

A serving of our protein is 2 scoops: 22 g of protein for whey, 20 g for plant protein. These recipes use one full serving unless noted. Whey contains milk; plant protein is dairy-free.

1. Chocolate peanut butter smoothie

  • 2 scoops chocolate protein
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk or unsweetened almond milk
  • A handful of ice

Blend until smooth. Add more milk for a thinner smoothie.

2. Vanilla overnight oats

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein
  • 3/4 cup milk or plant milk
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp chia seeds, berries to top

Stir everything except the berries in a jar, cover and refrigerate overnight. Top with berries in the morning. Add an extra splash of milk if it is too thick.

3. Protein iced latte

  • 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein (half a serving)
  • 1/2 cup cold milk
  • 1/2 cup cold brew or chilled espresso
  • Ice

Shake the protein and milk in a shaker bottle until smooth, then pour over ice and coffee.

4. Berry yogurt bowl

  • 3/4 cup plain Greek or plant-based yogurt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein (half a serving)
  • Mixed berries, a sprinkle of granola

Stir the protein into the yogurt until smooth, then add toppings. If it gets too thick, loosen it with a little milk.

5. Weekend protein pancakes

  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats or flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder, a splash of milk

Mix into a thick batter and cook small pancakes on a lightly oiled pan over medium heat, about 2 minutes per side. Makes 6 to 8 small pancakes, so two people can share one serving of protein.

Tips

  • Add protein powder to oats after cooking, not while they boil, so it stays smooth.
  • Chocolate works best with banana, peanut butter and coffee. Vanilla works with berries, oats and yogurt.
